Retail trade
We offer two courses in this professional field:
- Management assistant for retail services (three year full qualification)
- Sales assistant for retail services (two year full qualification).
The trainees learn to organise the complete process from purchasing, book-keeping, storage and product presentation to sales, balancing the cash register and processing orders for a total of three branches.
In our Tea and Eifel Shop "Tee - und Eifelladen" in Bitburg town center, you can find tea, tea accessories and snacks on the one hand, on the other hand we provide regional foods such as wine, honey, high-quality oils, sausage and cheese, outdoor clothes with the Eifel logo and handmade products from the Euro-BBW.
The inhouse kiosk has a wide range of fresh baking, snacks as well as hot and cold drinks for staff, participants, and visitors alike.
The Euro-BBW greenhouse regularly sells seedlings and decoration articles, extending trainees first hand experience to include the "garden product" sector.
Work experience placements can be arranged in supermarkets, building suppliers, garden centers or bakeries.
