Study Workshop
The training courses are accompanied by extra support and further qualification in the form of a study workshop.
Through activities in the workshop we assist the trainee in strengthening vocation-specific practical and theoretical competence as well as general knowledge and psychosocial skills. Activities, organised by a team of internal and external specialists and experts in agreement with the respective reha team, take place individually or in study and work groups as necessary.
The activities include:
- intensified training by selected achievement deficits
- intensive exam preparation and simulation of the exam situation
- aquisition and practise of foreign languages (English, French, Dutch, Spanish)
- training social skills (in co-operation with the psycho-social development specialists)
- job application training (in co-operation with the integration consultant specialists)
- aquisition of European supplementary qualifications such as European Computer Driver's License (ECDL) or European Commerce Competence (a European qualification for the trading area)
- assistance in preparing for the theoretical driving test and acquiring of a forklift truck license
- enabling occupational supplementary qualifications (e.g. chainsaw license, CAD foundation course, assistant nurse, telephone marketing)
