Atmospheric farewell to 48 graduates

“Ain't no mountain high enough” - on Thursday, the graduates were bid farewell at an atmospheric ceremony in the sports and leisure center of the European Vocational Training Center.

A total of 48 proud graduates of the 2024 final examination were bid farewell last Thursday at an atmospheric ceremony. In addition to parents, relatives, friends, participants and employees of the Euro-BBW, other guests included representatives of the funding bodies, partner companies and chambers.

In her welcoming address, Euro-BBW Director Anita Sonndag praised the graduates: “You can sit here today because you wanted what you had to do: be strong on the mountain!” Ronald Fröhling, Deputy Director of the Euro-BBW, provided a humorous “send-off” under the motto “The party's over!”. The chairpersons of the participants' representatives then bid farewell to their colleagues.

Anita Sonndag then led the graduation ceremony with personal words and Headmistress Petra Sommer-Schmeichel presented awards to four students for the best vocational school certificates. The ceremony was accompanied by music from the band “MoselVibes” with specially selected songs that were well suited to the occasion.

The official graduation ceremony then turned into an informal outdoor summer party with cocktails, culinary delicacies and live music from the Euro-BBW house band and “MoselVibes”. The graduates took the opportunity for personal farewells and individual souvenir photos of their time at the Euro-BBW.

The next step for the newly qualified specialists is to enter the world of work. More than half of the graduates are already in work or have concrete job offers, while the others are still in the application process. Companies looking for well-trained, competent employees are welcome to contact the Euro-BBW integration advisory service, which provides support with placement and induction (integrationsberatung@euro-bbw.de).

We sincerely congratulate all graduates and wish them all the best and every success for the future!
